The institution is endowed with excellent facilities required for creating congenial academic atmosphere. It has good academic infrastructure consisting of principal’s office, staff room, class rooms, seminar hall, assembly hall, library, computer lab, psychology lab, educational technology lab, work experience lab, science lab, research scholars room, old students association room, ladies waiting hall, sports room, store rooms, etc. The entire academic area has internet connectivity of a high band width. The institution has fax facility. The institution is providing Scanning, Printing and Photostat facilities to staff and students. The entire college is under the umbrella of intercom system.

The institution has self sufficient building with adequate space for expansion. There is a seminar hall with a capacity of 200 students and assembly hall with a capacity of 280 students. There are 6 class rooms for B.Ed and M.Ed courses. There is provision for using L.C.D. projector, over head projector and audio equipment in all these rooms.

The institution has power supply from the public utility services. The institution has water supply from Guntur Municipal Corporation as well as back up network of underground resources.

Each room in the institution’s building has required furniture according to the purpose for which the room is utilized.

The institution’s campus is fully utilized for its own activities. However, some outside agencies like Government and non-Government Organizations are permitted to use the infrastructure for conducting various examinations, social and cultural activities and academic programmes free of charge. Every effort is made to keep the whole campus clean and student-friendly.

 

Principal Room

Office Room


The room has adequate furniture, which is required for smooth functioning of the administrative matters. This room has 2 multimedia computers with internet facility. Scanning, Printing and Xerox facilities are also available in this room.

Assembly Hall

The institution has a spacious, well ventilated and well furnished assembly hall with a seating capacity of 280 members. This room has a public addressing system and other facilities which are required for meetings.

Multimedia Seminar Hall

The institution has a centralized A.C seminar hall with a seating capacity of 180 students. This room has public address system, multimedia computer with internet facility and LCD projector, which are used for seminars.

Secretary's Chamber

The institution has a centralized A.C hall as secretary's chamber and has one multimedia computer with internet facility

Staff Room


There is a well furnished common staff room with desks, chairs and almarahs for faculty members with attached toilet facility. This room has a multimedia computer with internet and intercom facility for staff members. There is a separate individual accommodation for each staff member in his or her respective laboratory.

Computer Laboratory


The institution has a spacious computer laboratory with internet connection facilities. All the computers are LAN connected. The laboratory has 25 high end multimedia computers, especially for the use by the students. The laboratory is equipped with scanning and printing facilities. The laboratory is looked after by a qualified lecturer who also provides technical support

Psychology Laboratory

The institution has a separate psychology laboratory which has all the tests and the required equipments for conducting psychology experiments included in the B.Ed and M.Ed. curriculum. All the tools and techniques that are also required for research are available in the psychology laboratory. The psychology laboratory also serves as a resource centre for research scholars and students of other colleges and universities.

Science Laboratory

The institution has good science laboratory, which has all the apparatus, materials and equipment needed for conducting practicals by Physical Science and Biological Science student teachers. These materials are being utilized by students in their microteaching, teaching practice and internship programme.

Educational Technology Laboratory

The institution has a well equipped educational technology laboratory, which has all the facilities of hardware and software.  The institution has LCD projector, digital camera, handicam, overhead projectors, slide projectors, film strip projectors, television, tape recorders, DVD player, public addressing system, audio equipment and other equipments, which are often used in teaching learning process.

Work Experience Room

The institution has well equipped work experience room with all the required facilities. The tools and material required for SUPW activities are available and the finished products are stored and displayed in the work experience room.

Research Room

The institution is an approved Research Centre in Education of Acharya Nagarjuna University. The institution has provided a separate room for research directors and research scholars in Education. The room is provided with the needed facilities for the use of scholars and research guides which include a multimedia computer with internet and intercom facilities.

Ladies Waiting Room


There is a separate waiting room for girl students to relax and refresh, adequate physical facilities are provided for the purpose. There is an attached toilet facility in the room.

Old Students Association Room


There is an old students association formed by the former students of the institution known as 'ROSA' (RVRR College of Education Old Students Association). The institution has provided one room for the association. This room is the hub centre for the activities of the association. This room is also a centre for the activities of the in-house journal "SALOCHANA".

TLM Laboratory


The institution maintains a separate room for teaching learning material (TLM) containing teaching aids such as models, charts, roller boards, globes, albums, photos, laboratory equipment, mathematical instrument boxes and other teaching aids. These are prepared by our student teachers which help them in their teaching practice programme.

Sports Facilities

The institution encourages the students to participate in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The institution has very good facilities for sports. There is a provision for outdoor and indoor games. It has a play ground for outdoor games like badminton, shuttle, football, volleyball, cricket, etc., and there is a common room for indoor games like carroms, chess, etc. These are managed by a qualified physical director. The institution conducts annual sports competitions, both for indoor and outdoor games. There is a provision for sports period in the regular time table.

Parking Facilities



The institution has constructed a separate parking facility for students and teachers.

Library

The institution has spacious and well equipped library housed in 2500 sq.ft hall in the ground floor with necessary subject text books and reference books. There are encyclopedias, dictionaries and thesaurus available to the students and staff members for their reading and reference. It has 9447 books and subscribes to 32 journals and 5 news papers and a few magazines. A 'Book Bank' facility for S.C., S.T students is available in the library. The library is equipped with a multimedia computer with internet facility, educational CDs, DVDs and Photo copier. The library has 12 reading tables and 100 chairs to seat over 100 students at a time.
The purchase and use of current titles, important journals and other reading materials is decided by the library advisory committee with the advice of the librarian. The purchase of text books is decided after consulting the concerned subject lecturers.
