Acharya Nagarjuna University has granted research centre in Education for R.V.R.R.College of Education with effect from the academic year 2003-04. It has three recognized research directors. About 47 research scholars pursuing their research (M.Phil/Ph.D) under these directors on part time and full time basis.

The Institution has a well equipped library with all amenities and facilities. It has a separate wing for research related books, journals and monographs. It also provides e-news papers and e-books and photostat facilities to the students and faculty members as well. The research scholars of various universities are utilizing the library resources for their reference.
During the tenure of Dr.Gudivada Prabhavathi, Former Principal, as Chairperson, Board of Studies in Education, Pre-Ph.D Examinations for Research Scholars of ANU were held in the institution continuously for three years till the establishment of Faculty of Education in ANU in the year 2007.

Research outcomes are in the form of research reports; working papers; publications such as books, papers in journals/magazines; conferences and workshops; talks/addresses. The faculty members have published many articles and research papers in various journals and magazines.

Consultancy
The research works are being supervised by the faculty for M. Phil. and Ph. D. theses from different Universities like ANU, Alagappa, Annamalai, Mother Theresa, Madurai Kamaraj and M.S. Universities.
The faculty members are involved in giving consultancy to various newly established schools and Colleges of Education in planning the infrastructure and instructional facilities.
The faculty members are giving consultancy in organizing orientation programmes/seminars/conferences to various institutions
Dr. D. Bhaskara Rao, Principal - Member in NCTE Visiting Team, Research Supervisor for different Universities like Acharya Nagarjuna University, M.S. University, Alagappa University, Dravidian University, etc. He has participated in a Teleconferencing on Environmental Education that oriented Mandal Resource Persons and Teacher Educators and Teacher Education Students of District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) organized by the District Primary Education Programme, Government of India.
Dr. L. Bhagya Lakshmi, Reader acted as a resource person in offering free coaching in Psychology for D.S.C. Teacher Recruitment in various institutions like, Sri Satya Sai organization, UTF, ITC Ltd., Navodaya Vidyalaya Teachers, Chinmaya Schools and for different workshops and she is a member in Global Academy of Psychologists.
Mr. M. Ravi Kumar acted as a resource person in offering free coaching in Mathematics Methodology for D.S.C. Teacher Recruitment in various institutions like Sri Satya Sai organization, UTF, ITC Ltd., A.P Study Circle and he is a member in Global Academy of Psychologists. He is a member of School managing committee, Dr. K.L.P. Public school, Guntur. He has been giving consultancy in organising orientation programmes in Mathematics to various schools.
Mr. S. Krishna Babu, is the Joint Secretary of Global Academy of Psychologists, a Social Service Organization, working for the public as a volunteer in Pulse Polio Immunization, Plantation, Blood Donation Programmes, etc.
Mr. M. Ravi Krishna, is a member in ‘Parivarthana’, a Deaf and Dumb school located in Sattenapalli since 2006. He is the Joint Secretary for ‘Swadharma Seva Samstha’ since 2007 and he is the Treasurer for Kondaveedu Heritage Society since 2010.
